In November 2019, Gustavo returned to CDMX, where he has previously performed with the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra and Vienna Philharmonic. This visit marked Gustavo’s first performances with the LA Phil in the Mexican capital, and featured performances and residencies as a celebration of 50 years of sisterhood between CDMX and Los Angeles.

At the end of June 2020, Gustavo Dudamel and the Berlin Philharmonic will travel to Tokyo together to perform four concerts at the Tokyo 2020 Nippon Festival, as part of the 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
