Gustavo speaks about the Mozart masterpiece: “The Marriage of Figaro is one of the first works I conducted, at the age of twelve or thirteen, during my musical training. I studied it at length with my teacher José Antonio Abreu. We dissected it every week, analyzing its musical structure as well as its libretto, exchanging ideas about it. Since those years, it has been part of my life.”
