Gustavo Dudamel conducts Mahler’s Third Symphony with Berliner Philharmoniker June 12 - 14; Digital Concert Hall broadcast June 13
Gustavo Dudamel returns to conduct the Berliner Philharmoniker for the second time this season June 12, 13 and 14, leading a program comprising Gustav Mahler’s monumental Symphony No. 3 and Harrison Birtwistle’s Dinah and Nick’s Love Song. Mahler’s Third Symphony features mezzo-soprano Gerhild Romberger, the ladies of the Rundfunkchor Berlin and the boys of the Staats- und Domchor Berlin.

The Venezuelan conductor’s appearances with the Berliner Philharmoniker anticipate their European tour together later this June. Gustavo leads the orchestra on tour at the Reithalle Landgestüt in Redefin (June 21), Teatro Filarmonico in Verona (June 23), Nuovo Teatro dell’Opera in Florence (June 24), Waldbühne Berlin (June 27), and St. Goarshausen in Loreley-Freilichtbühne (June 28).
