Dudamel conducts Salonen and Adams in “Left Coast, West Coast”
Later this week, in his last performances with the LA Phil in the 2009 calendar year, Gustavo Dudamel conducts performances of California-inspired music as part of the John Adams-curated "Left Coast, West Coast" festival. The program features Salonen's LA Variations, Harrison's Piano Concerto played by Marino Formenti, and Adams' City Noir, a piece that was commissioned for and premiered on Gustavo’s Inaugural Gala with the LA Phil last month. Performances are on November 27, 28, and 29.
