Salzburg Festival with Vienna Philharmonic

This summer at the Salzburg Festival, Gustavo Dudamel conducts the Vienna Philharmonic, leading the orchestra in tone poems by Richard Strauss and René Staar’s Time Recycling.

The concerts, which take place August 22 and 23, comprise Strauss’s Tod und Verklärung and the mighty Also sprach Zarathustra, as well as the 2014 work Time Recycling by composer René Staar, who is also a violinist of the orchestra.

Looking ahead to September, Gustavo Dudamel embarks on an extensive tour with the Vienna Philharmonic, conducting the orchestra in Austria, Switzerland, Germany, China and Japan.
