Gustavo Dudamel returns to the Hollywood Bowl for the Los Angeles Philharmonic's 94th season at its summer home.

The LA Phil Music Director kicks off his summer performances with Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana, featuring soprano Joélle Harvey, tenor Lawrence Brownlee, baritone Brian Mulligan, the Los Angeles Master Chorale and Los Angeles Children’s Chorus. The July 21 and 23 concerts also include Eric Whitacre’s Her Sacred Spirit Soars and Equus.

Dudamel also conducts the Tchaikovsky Spectacular with Fireworks for the first time with a program that includes the composer’s Fifth Symphony, Nutcracker Selections, and 1812 Overture (July 24 & 25, 2015).

On July 28, violinist Gil Shaham joins Dudamel for an all-Mendelssohn program, comprising the German composer’s Violin Concerto and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Dudamel rounds out his Hollywood Bowl concerts of the summer season with a concert devoted to Mozart’s music on July 30 with pianist Alice Sara Ott.
