Gustavo Dudamel leads Wiener Philharmoniker on European tour

In April 2016, Gustavo Dudamel leads the Wiener Philharmoniker at the Musikverein and on tour across Europe, spotlighting the music of Rachmaninoff, Reger, Mussorgsky and Tchaikovsky.
The tour kicks off on April 10 at Vienna's Musikverein with a performance of Rachmaninoff's Isle of the Dead, Reger's Böcklin Suite and Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition. Gustavo and the Wiener Philharmoniker then appear April 12 at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, April 13 at the Konzerthaus Freiburg and return on April 16 & 17 to the Musikverein.
Gustavo and the orchestra present Rachmaninoff's Toteninsel alongside Reger's Böcklin Suite and Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition on April 18 at the Vienna Konzerthaus and on April 19 at the Brucknerhaus Linz.
The European tour concludes at Munich's Philharmonie am Gasteig on April 23 as Gustavo and the Wiener Philharmoniker perform Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition and are joined by featured soloist Lang Lang for Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1.
