Europe & Asia Tour with Vienna Philharmonic September 7 - 27

From September 7 to 27, Gustavo Dudamel leads the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra on a 14-concert tour of Europe and Asia, with highlights including a trio of concerts at the Lucerne Festival, Japan’s Vienna Philharmonic Week, and the opening concert of the newly built Shanghai Symphony Hall.

Gustavo Dudamel and the Vienna Philharmonic begin their European performances on September 7 at the Grafenegg Festival, before heading to the Austrian capital’s Theater an der Wien (September 10), and the Lucerne Festival for three performances on September 12, 13, and 14. Their concerts on the European continent wrap up with a performance at the Cologne Philiharmonie on September 15.

In Asia, Gustavo and the Vienna Philharmonic perform the opening concert of the newly built Shanghai Symphony Hall on September 18. From China, they head to Japan, where they perform at the Festival Hall Osaka (September 19), Acros Fukuoka Symphony Hall (September 20), Koriyama Shimin Bunka Center (September 21), and Muza Kawasaki Symphony Hall (September 22). In Tokyo, Gustavo and the orchestra give three concerts at Suntory Hall (September 24, 25, 27).
