After his first European tour with the Los Angeles Philharmonic comes to a close, Dudamel returns to California in March for a week of concerts with the LA Phil featuring works by Webern, Takemitsu and Bruckner. Webern's Five Pieces for Orchestra, a monumental work lasting around 5 minutes, and Toro Takemitsu's Requiem for Strings will be presented alongside Bruckner's epic Seventh Symphony at Walt Disney Concert Hall on March 3, 4 & 6, and in Orange County on March 5. Following these concerts, Dudamel prepares for two more programs in March with the LA Phil, including the second LA Phil LIVE broadcast on March 13, "Dudamel conducts Tchaikovsky."
