LA Phil LIVE kicks off on January 9 with

The first LA Phil LIVE transmission from Walt Disney Concert Hall to more than 450 movie theaters across the U.S. and Canada takes place on Sunday, January 9 at 5pm EST with a program titled "Dudamel Conducts Beethoven."  In addition to Beethoven's Symphony No. 7, the program will be include John Adams' "Slonimsky's Earbox" and Bernstein's Symphony No. 1 "Jeremiah" with mezzo-soprano Kelley O'Connor as the soloist.  Singer and actress Vanessa Williams will host this first LA Phil LIVE broadcast.  Each of the three transmissions this season will include interviews with Dudamel, soloists and members of the LA Phil, as well as a live post-concert Q&A with the conductor.  To submit a question to Dudamel for the post-concert Q&A, send an email to [email protected]. Five questions will be selected for each performance.
