Gustavo Dudamel returns to conduct the Los Angeles Philharmonic this week, leading performances on November 20, 21 & 22 that celebrate the 10th anniversary of Walt Disney Concert Hall’s spectacular organ “Hurricane Mama.”

Dudamel and the orchestra are joined by organist Cameron Carpenter for a program that features the world premiere of Stephen Hartke’s Symphony No. 4, “Organ” (LA Phil commission), alongside performances of Saint-Saëns’s Third Symphony, “Organ.” The concerts also include Barber’s Toccata Festiva for organ and orchestra and Carpenter’s own transcription of Scriabin’s Sonata No. 4 for solo organ.
