Gustavo Dudamel & LA Phil close 2016 with Rachmaninoff, Haydn & more
Music & Artistic Director Gustavo Dudamel and the Los Angeles Philharmonic close 2016 with two series of concerts this December.
From December 1 to 4, Gustavo leads the orchestra in Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 3 with Daniil Trifonov, Prokofiev's Scythian Suite and Scriabin's Poem of Ecstasy.
Gustavo and the LA Phil present Haydn's monumental The Creation on December 8, 9, 10 & 11 in a performance featuring soprano Rachele Gilmore, tenor Joshua Guerrero, baritone Johannes Kammler and the Los Angeles Master Chorale. The concert will spotlight a video installation by Alberto Arvelo.
