Dudamel performs Webern, Takemitsu and Bruckner with LA Phil

Following performances in his native Venezuela in February, Gustavo Dudamel now returns to California to conduct three consecutive weeks of performances with the LA Phil. For the first week of concerts on March 3 through 6, they perform Webern's Five Pieces for Orchestra, Toro Takemitsu's Requiem for Strings, and Bruckner's epic Seventh Symphony. The concerts on March 3, 4 and 6 take place at Walt Disney Concert Hall, while the performance on March 5 takes places at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Orange County. Following these concerts, Dudamel prepares for two more programs in March with the LA Phil, including the second LA Phil LIVE transmission on March 13, "Dudamel conducts Tchaikovsky."
