Gustavo to lead Vienna Philharmonic in gardens of Schönbrunn Palace

On June 7, Gustavo will conduct the Vienna Philharmonic in its annual Summer Night Concert (Sommernachtskonzert) at the Schönbrunn Palace in the Austrian capital. Their program includes orchestral dances by composers such as Tchaikovsky, Mussorgsky and Strauss, and will also include Debussy's La mer.Deutsche Grammophon will rush release the concert on CD (June 2012) and on DVD (July 2012). 

This open air concert is free and open to the public and takes place in the baroque gardens of this historic royal residence, now a UNESCO world heritage site. The program begins at 8:30 pm and will be broadcast live on European television. Please check your local listings.
